Tahoe

The Tahoe basin holds a vast number of high quality boulders, up with some of the best in CA - often just minutes from a road and with a stunning view to boot. It's Achilles heel is that these erratics and moraines are relatively spread out, so don't expect to find a Camp 4 or Buttermilks analogue here. But this isnt a bad thing - just factor in a little hiking and exploring into your day and have fun!
