Frontyard

Nestled right in the middle of suburbia, routes range from V easy to currently v8. There are 3 main areas. The warm ups are along the same side of the gully, and follows through into the 'Ashtray' further west. This south facing wall ranges from slightly overhanging to slabby problems on typical sandstone edges. Some of the rock in between can be crumbly (such as 'Faceplant', however, generally the rock is quite pleasent and solid where most of the roiutes have been established.

A seperate area on the other side of the gully is west facing and get's the afternoon sun. This pleasent well lit area is better in the winters or very early mornings of summer. Routes range from the ultra balancy "delicate lady", to various short top outs. Standout problem here is the beautiful intimidating wall with a tweaky mono.

Please keep noise to a minimum as walkers frequent the path.

Directions

Park at the corner of Yarraman Avenue. You can either rear west at the park to access the Ashtray, scramble along a feint path about 50m westward. Otherwise, an alernative sometimes muddy path is to head south behind the houses, then walk under the powerlines, into the sandstone ridge. The warm ups are to the right from this ridge.

You can also access via Currie Road but park outside the gates and walk, risking stares from muddy colour co-coordinated children. The park gates chance you being locked in.
